Great portions. Good quality food. Fair prices. Friendly customer service.
It's our local neighborhood spot and we love ordering from here! Always hits the spot and food is always fresh and satisfying.
I wish they were open later sometimes but we totally understand since we're in the suburbs. -

One star.
Had some delivery a week ago at the suggestion of a local. Can't believe how bad this was. I ordered a 12" fish sub and some egg foo yung.
The sandwich came as TWO 6" (weird) and the fish was clearly old, reheated - or both - because it was hard in some spots and dry as beach sand.
The egg foo young was flavorless and get this....the gravy was watered down like beef stock. Soupy! No thick gravy as expected. Who messes up egg foo?? Jeez.
The egg rolls were bad and the small shrimp fried rice was bland too. A true culinary travesty.
Even bad Chinese carry-outs aren't normally this bad but this place was deplorable. Reminds me of why I'm always hesitant to take food recommendations from people with unknown skills. Ugh....stuff ran my belly. -

To borrow from a previous entry, "Golden Coast is a rather unassuming Chinese restaurant in a short shopping strip. While there's a single table and chairs, it's not meant to dine-in. "
This place is a standard for those who are in a rush and not too considered with bland fried rice.
I dropped by today for lunch, got the rib tips and fried rice ($6.95 lunch special).
Meh
Rice was boring and bland, even when you add soy sauce. Admittedly if I had some sweet and spicy red pepper sauce, this review would be different... slightly.
They did give me a generous portion of the pork tips in some kind of bbq-ish sauce. They were middle of the road.
Again, nothing fancy and good for a quick, uninspiring meal. Call ahead for take out, as this place is totally not dine in, no matter what their signs say.
I should have went to the China Panda up the road, or even grab a burger at Burger King instead. -

Long before I was a Yelper, I have came here and ate at he one table they have in the front counter area. I sometimes have ordered out. It has authentic flavors and the staff is always kind. I have a hard time choosing from all the dishes, but they are patient with me. Since they get takeout orders via phone and walk-ins, the orders can pile up fast. Around lunch time, one person can walk in with an order for am entire office! So watch where you want to land in the pecking order. They have cool coupons on the paper take out menus, so if you meet the requirements, use the coupons. I think you get a drink with some of the combos or if you buy a certain amount. There are diploma many types of bottled and canned drinks, soda, juices, green teas. I love their crab rangooons and fried dumplings, they go well with any entree.

Literally have no idea what everyone else is saying about the food not having taste. The sweet n' spicy red pepper sauced tofu and vegetables I got and the Sesame Chicken my husband got tonight was amazing and bursting with flavor. The portions are super generous. The white rice was sticky like I like it and super fluffy. This was our first time trying this place out and we are definitely getting take out from there again! It may very well be my new favorite take out place! To top it off they were super fast with my order and very friendly.
